So … Devyn has surgery today.. His first. We’re all a little nervous .. but he’s not as much as I am I suppose. CHKD has been fantastic. Went on a tour of the facility last night and talked to his nurse.
On another note .. we have Hurricane Earl getting ready to hit .. no fun that. We’ve raised everything in the office. .. I’ll post updates from CHKD in a bit.

Went Sat night to see Inception again .. great movie! Took my dad and met up with my brother, Tray for dinner.

boys and i just got back from sliding rock… had a great time! I posted some pictures to picasa and linked here. The rock was COLD ( like 48F degree water. ) Boys went down several times .. was crazy fun.
Great show!! We were down front and in the middle.’ all the bands were good but I specially liked puddle of mudd and shinedown! We stayed in center front for the entire concert. Vikki put up some pictures too .. what a great show!
Second bday this weekend… Is 106F in the shade… I grew up with this.. But wow it is hot. Brennan is one.. Can’t believe it.
Brought boys to WISC .. Seems to be an entertainment complex up in Williamsburg .. Big place.. Lots of schoolkids from their classes.
The beaches in Pensacola, Fl. are no longer the most beautiful, nor will they ever likely be again. I used to live down there .. spent many a night on that beach .. very very sad.
When we were on nights, we’d get off Thursday morning, get a keg or two, and then goto the beach. We’d rent 1 room for like 10 of us, and then sleep on the beach with a cooler or two and the kegs buried near us.
The beaches were so clean and pure.. when you’d zip your foot on the sand it’d make a ‘ZING’ sound. The water was blue and clear .. you could see the fish around you. All that changes now.
The *Really* Sad part is .. this is *still* coming out. So this is not the end .. but merely the beginning.
So .. apparently I have been grinding turkish blend in my knee for several years. The DR wants to go in and scope the knee out and clean it up. Scheduled for June 2 .. means by end of July .. I may be able to test for my belt .. Yay. More on this as I get closer.
