And this is why I got off facebook. Caught in the net. Now that this ‘database’ is in a convenient file that can be loaded into a database, they’ll be able to trivially connect it with other information like credit cards, job listings, etc. Personal Information is *too* open.
So the I take the boys to work every other week to have lunch with me in the cafeteria. It’s a nice break for them and gives us some good bonding time. Today we were in there and were asked to be on NASA TV! They needed a spot about Bring your Kids to Work day. So they used us .. kinda cool! I’ll post the date and time and a vid if I get one here.
Great show!! We were down front and in the middle.’ all the bands were good but I specially liked puddle of mudd and shinedown! We stayed in center front for the entire concert. Vikki put up some pictures too .. what a great show!
Second bday this weekend… Is 106F in the shade… I grew up with this.. But wow it is hot. Brennan is one.. Can’t believe it.
Brought boys to WISC .. Seems to be an entertainment complex up in Williamsburg .. Big place.. Lots of schoolkids from their classes.
So got a call from Mr. Sprint Ombudsman .. who was following up to make sure I got a call from the Local sprint manager. I did in fact get that call ( as blogged about earlier ) and I am looking forward to meeting with her tomorrow.
So I got a call from the Local manager of the Sprint Store. They are going to take the aircard as a full return! Yay. This means that there will be no cost to me. I have an apt to handle this tomorrow afternoon. Very excited and happy about finally having this resolved. I will update this site when complete.
As a side note.. I have gotten several more comments and mails from people that have had this issue. I’d hope that Sprint will do the right thing for them as well.
So looks like Bruce Potter may be coming to speak at our ISSA meeting here in Tidewater. I had been talking to him about this for a bit and tho he’s about to be a Dad again, he’s willing to take some time out to come down to give a presentation. Very excited.
We’ll have to move the meeting to Monday Aug 9th to accomplish this.
So I get a call from one of my friends last night, and guess what?! His brother-in-law ALSO got a horrendous bill from Sprint. Same circumstances. Not sure if the store told him the same thing but wow .. this is becoming rather class-actiony. I really hope Sprint is reading this cause I have gotten some mail’s and comments from several people interested in what’s going on and how this will be resolved. Some of them had JD’s. I’ll keep yall posted.
